ECOPIA, Ecological Products of Ethiopia is a social company. We are the first Horn of Africa organic food processing and exporting company. Ecopia works with Ethiopian organic farmers. ECOPIA was founded by a team of food production scientists from Germany and experts in the fields of market research, business strategy and innovation management from Europe and the Horn of Africa.
Our products contain only organic ingredients and no artificial food additives, and are processed with no artificial methods, materials and conditions (e.g. no chemical ripening, no food irradiation).

Ecopia processing room are empowered by clean room technology. Its product description is based on the World Health Organisation, European Union and Food and Drug Administration's Factored Food Vocabulary (FFV) rules and regulations. Our clients can request our product process descriptions by e-mail or fax.

Ecopia is in the process of developing in house quality and standard control to fulifule national, regional and international quality and hygiene control for food: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) as well.
